LPJ Chicago At USRowing National Youth Invitational

This year LPJ Chicago sent three eights to the National Championships; Boy's Varsity, Boy's Lightweight, Girl's Varsity. Friday's Heats proved more difficult than anticipated sending all three boats into the Repechage. On Saturday, all three boats fought back to redeem their place in the Semi Finals that afternoon. At the end of the day, all three eights were in the third final race of their respective events. Both of the Boy's crews ended up third in their final finishing 15th in the Nation overall. The Girls boat finish 18th. All three boats will be returning a lot of their rowers and we look forward to an exciting 2009-2010 season.
